 Lithuanian Beer Ltd is pleased to announce that we will be presenting our most famous beer Švyturys Ekstra as well as other Lithuanian beers and ciders at Lithuanian St. Casimir’s Fair on 26th – 28th of March 2009 at Stratford Broadway, London E15.
There was an old custom in Lithuania during the feasts to take a jar of homemade beer to one’s closest friends and  neighbours. That’s why beer in Lithuania was always recognised as a symbol of warm and close relations.
During his state visit to Lithuania, Prince Philip asked to sample the best beer which the country could offer. He was given a glass of Svyturys ‘Ekstra’ and seemed to enjoy it thoroughly – as a slightly concerned smile appeared on the face of HM  The Queen.
